Ashwani Kumar is a retired IPS officer and the Governor of the Indian state of Nagaland,[2] having briefly served as Governor of Manipur during 2013.[3]
He was the DGP of Himachal Pradesh from August 2006 to July 2008[4] and had worked as the Director of CBI form 2 August 2008 to 30 November 2010.[5][6]
