Asia Muhammad (born April 4, 1991 in Long Beach) is an American professional tennis player.
On 1 February 2016, she reached her highest WTA singles ranking of 220 while her best doubles ranking was 81 on 1 February 2016. Has won one doubles title on the WTA tour, as well as 3 singles and 16 doubles titles on the ITF circuit in her career.[1][2]
She turned pro in 2007.[3] Her favorite surface hard.
She won her first WTA doubles title alongside Laura Siegemund with a victory over Jelena Janković and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in the final.
Personal
Her younger brother Shabazz Muhammad currently plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves in the National Basketball Association.[4] She is also the niece of former Kansas City Chiefs and Minnesota Vikings receiver Stephone Paige.
