Aspendale railway station is located on the Frankston line in Victoria, Australia. It serves the south-eastern Melbourne suburb of Aspendale, opening in April 1891 as Aspendale Park Racecourse, and was renamed Aspendale on 1 August 1905.^[1]

Boom barriers were provided at the Groves Street level crossing (directly south of the station) in 1977.^[2] In 1981, the station buildings were rebuilt.^[3]

Platforms & services

Aspendale has two side platforms. It is serviced by Metro Trains' Frankston line services.^[4]

Platform 1:

• Frankston line: all stations and limited stops services to Flinders Street

• Frankston line: all stations and limited stops services to Frankston
