Association des Amis de l'Art Rupestre Saharien
Association des Amis de l'Art Rupestre Saharien (AARS) is a French organisation established in 1991 to focus on Saharan rock art. It is also referred to in English as the Association of the Friends of Saharan Rock Art.
The chairman is Jean-Loïc Le Quellec, an academic at the French National Centre for Scientific Research.[1][2][3]
The organisation publishes two journals:
AARS are a member of the International Federation of Rock Art Organizations.[4]
