Association des Comités Nationaux Olympiques

Association des Comités Nationaux Olympiques (ACNO) is an international non-governmental organization consisting of 205 the national olympic committee in the olympic movement.
ACNO was founded in 1979 by San Juan at Puerto Rico, after the national olympic committee has held the annual in 1965. The organisation has the purpose to managing general affairs as of for the national olympic committees, to give them their support, advice and recommendation for their development, and cooperation by the IOC and the international Confederation which is part of the olympic movement.
The 205 national olympic committees which is member of ACNO, is distributed to five regional Associations:[1]
- Africa: Association des Comités Nationaux Olympiques d’Afrique
- America: Organisation Sportive Panaméricaine
- Asia: Conseil Olympique d’Asie
- Europe: Comités Olympiques Européens
- Oceania: Comités Nationaux Olympiques d’Océanie
