Atelopus laetissimus is a species of toad in the family Bufonidae endemic to Colombia and only known from the vicinity of its type locality in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.[2] Its natural habitats are sub-Andean forests. It is threatened by habitat loss and chytridiomycosis.[1]
