Athletics competitions at the 2011 Island Games in the Isle of Wight was held from June 26 to July 1 at the Fairway Sports Complex. The half marathon event was held on a double-loop circuit through the surrounding area.[1] There were two major disciplines of Athletics, track and field events, and road running events.

Men and women had almost exactly the same event schedules, with the only difference being that women have the 100 m hurdles, as opposed to the men's 110 m hurdles.
