Atractaspis scorteccii, or the Somali burrowing asp, is a species of snake in the Atractaspididae family.[1] The specific epithet, scorteccii, is in honor of Italian herpetologist Giuseppe Scortecci (1898–1973).[2] It is endemic to Africa.[3]
