Aurul Brad is a football club based in Liga IV, Hunedoara, Romania.[1] First formed in 1934 under the name Mica Brad, the team played their home matches in Hunedoara at a grounds with a 1,500 seat capacity. Throughout its 80 years Aurul Brad has also been known as "Metal Brad".

In 1940-41 Aurul Brad played in the Liga I, the first league of Romania. This was a notable achievement for such a small town in Romania, and the team finished in 5th place out of 13 teams.
