Austrochaperina brevipes is a species of frog in the Microhylidae family. It is endemic to Papua New Guinea, known only from two localities, Mount Victoria and Myola Guest House in Owen Stanley Range. The threats are unknown and this frog has not been seen since 1987. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
