Automobile Club d'Italia
The Automobile Club d'Italia (usually known by its acronym ACI) is a non-economic, self-financed statutory corporation of the Italian Republic. It was founded in 1927, with the task of promoting and regulating the car sector and to represent car owners' interests in the country.
The corporation was called Reale Automobile Club d'Italia (RACI, or "Royal Automobile Club") until 1946, when monarchy was abolished.
