Ayandegan

Ayandegan (Persian: آیندگان‎‎) was one of the most influential and popular daily newspapers in Iran during Mohammad Reza Pahlavi's rule. The paper was founded in 1967 by Daryoush Homayoun.[1] From its start in 1967 to 1977 he also edited the paper,[2] which held a liberal stance.[1] The paper had its headquarters in Tehran.[1] Following the 1979 revolution, on 8 August 1979, the revolutionary prosecutor banned the newspaper.[3][4]
