Azad Film (meaning "free cinema") is a Pakistani film production company in Karachi owned by Jami.[1]
The company was formed in 2002 specialising in TV commercials, music videos and feature films.
History
Jami saw Star Wars in 1977 and knew he was hooked to the magic of cinema. He went on to study film at the Art Centre, College of Design, Pasadena, USA, and in 1998 returned to his hometown, Karachi and formed his production company Azad Film.[2]
