Azela Robinson (born Azela Jacqueline Robinson Cañedo on August 26, 1965 in London, England, United Kingdom) is a British-born Mexican actress.[1]

Biography

Born in the United Kingdom to an English father and a Mexican mother, Azela Robinson studied in the Old Vin Drama Workshop (1980–1982) and soon after, she enrolled in the National Theatre Workshop (1982–1983). Years later, she left the UK to seek new job opportunities. That is when she arrived in Mexico, where she began her career as an actress and participated in several telenovelas. She has also appeared in films and on stage. In 2005, Azela returned to the small-screen in the telenovela Contra viento y marea in the role of Apolonia.
