B. C. Ramchandra Sharma
B. C. Ramchandra Sharma (kannada: ಬಿ.ಸಿ.ರಾಮಚಂದ್ರ ಶರ್ಮ) (1925–2005) was a Kannada-language Indian poet.[1] He was awarded the Sahitya Akademi in 1988 for his poetic work Sapthapadi and Karnataka Sahitya Akademi for his work Neralu.
Among his publications is Gestures, a collection of poems in English. He has translated one hundred English poems of his time into Kannada and both prose and poetry from Kannada into English. Besides Kannada poetry, he has translated a novel by Masti, and a collection of thirteen short stories by Yashwant V. Chittal called The Boy who Talked to Trees.
