B. D. M International (formerly B. D. Memorial Institute) is an institute affiliated with the CBSE board in Pratapgarh, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. It has over 10000 students.The school is English medium with Bengali and Hindi taught as vernaculars. Subjects taught as per the norms of the Central Board of Secondary Education

History

The school was founded in 1966 but achieved affiliation much later.. The school was opened with two students and one teacher under the guidance of the founder principal Late Smt. Usha Mehta. It was founded by Late Smt. Draupadi Devi. From then the school made immense success in all fields.

The school offers co-curricular activities including meditation and yoga; games and sports like basketball, cricket, badminton, table-tennis, football, chess and carom; Arts and crafts; Indian dancing and singing; besides self-motivating workshops for the students. There are also regular societies for debating, dramatics and quizzing.

It has maintained a 100% success rate in AISSE ever since its affiliation to C.B.S.E. in 1983. It has received the Sanjeevani Award for "The School That Looks Beyond" and The Telegraph Education Foundation Award for "The Best Academic Performance by a School".
