BK Valmiera is a professional basketball club based in Valmiera, Latvia playing in the Latvian Basketball League and Baltic Basketball League. The club was founded in 2001, but in the period till 2001 there was Valmiera team named SK Valmiera, which is considered a precursor of this team. Also team has been known under the names Valmiera-Rūjiena, Valmieras Piens and Valmiera/Lāčplēša alus. Valmiera team is three-time Latvian Basketball League bronze medal winners.
