BNK Petroleum
BNK Petroleum Inc. (TSX: BKX) is a California based independent oil company. There are additional offices in Canada, the Netherlands, and Poland, and a network of subsidiary companies scattered across other European countries.[1][2] The company trades on the Toronto stock exchange under the ticker symbol BKX.TO.[3]
History
The company was spun off as an independent entity from Bankers Petroleum in 2008. In 2010 George Soros's investment fund, Quantum Partners, purchased a 20% stake BNK.[4][5]
