Flute Sonata in A major, BWV 1032
Sonata in A major for flute or recorder and harpsichord by J. S. Bach (BWV 1032) is a sonata in 3 movements:
- Vivace (in A major)
- Largo e dolce (in A minor, ending with an imperfect cadence) – unusually this movement is written in the parallel key, rather than the relative key, to the home key.
- Allegro (in A major)
The autograph is incomplete, and there are 45–48 bars missing. There exist reconstructions by various authors.
