Baba Makhan Shah Lobana Foundation, BMSLF is a welfare society formed in 1972 by echelon of Labana society of North India. It is named after eminent Sikh personality Baba Makhan Shah, a merchant marine during Mughal era and discoverer of Guru Tegh Bahadur. It's agenda is to promote the educational, social and cultural welfare of all the weaker sections of the Indian Society.[1] It played important role in Upliftment of Labana community. BMSL resolve low cost marriages like to do only Karhmai rather than roka, thaka and karhmai.[2] Also Marriage functions to be kept lower. BMSLF award merit cum means scholarship to deserving student in 1999 chosen by Regional Presidents.

The headquarters of BMSLF is situated in Chandigarh contains a Building, Gurdwara Hall, Residential Rooms and Park. It also had monthly publication called Labana Sewak.
