Babb's Beach, also known as Babb's Beach Amusement Park, is located at 435 Babbs Rd. in Suffield, Connecticut. It was constructed in 1898 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.[1]
The listing included four contributing buildings and one contributing site—the beach area—over a 7-acre (2.8 ha) area. It was developed on Middle Pond of the Congamond Lakes, also known as Congamond Lake. Its most significant building is the Dance Hall / Rolling Rink building. Other surviving buildings are an Arcade, a Shooting Gallery, and a Generator Shed.[2]
The property is now owned by the town of Suffield.
