Babelomurex benoiti is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Muricidae, the murex snails or rock snails.[1][3]

Description

Its shell is white-yellowish with many small ridges. The shell is normally 20mm — 45mm in length, the mean being around 38mm.[3][4]

Distribution

Distribution ranges from the Greek islands to south-east Spain and north-west Africa, encompassing the Mediterranean Sea and the Greek Exclusive Economic Zone.[1][2][3]
