Badhan clan
The Badhan are a gotra (clan) of Jats found in the Gujrat and Sialkot districts of Punjab, Pakistan, and the Mirpur District and Poonch District of Azad Kashmir.
History & origin
It is claimed that they were the native people of Punjab region before the arrival of Aryans. After the arrival of Aryans they resisted the infiltration and eventually merged amongst invaders. Kala, their ancestor, left Jammu and settled in Sialkot. From Sialkot they spread to Gujrat, and eventually Mirpur.[5]
Ram Swarup Joon[6] Badhan under Budhwar: Budhwar kings are mentioned to have offered presents in the Rajsuya Yagya ceremony of the Pandavas. The descendants of the Budhwar gotra in the western Punjab are called Satroya, Badhan Chatra, Siyan, Gawaya, Goch and Mudyal

Badhan Gotra found in Sikh. They are honest and hardworking people. They are natives of Punjab Hoshiarpur area. They believe in Guru Nanak's principles.
