Badri Datt Pandey

Pandit Badri Dutt Pandey (15 February 1882 - 13 February 1965) was a veteran Indian freedom fighter, and subsequently, a Member of Parliament from Almora in independent India. Along with Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant, he emerged as one of the foremost political leaders from Uttarakhand (then a part of the United Provinces in British India). He was popularly known as, and remains remembered in the region as, the "Kumaon Kesari". [1]
