Balaklava High School is a country high school of over 450 students ranging from years 8 to 13. The school has around 40 teachers. It is located on the Adelaide Plains in South Australia, Australia. The school has agreed to have Balaklava Primary and Balaklava High become one R to 12 school. This will enable both schools to have modern facilities. The project will commence in 2009 and will take up to two years to be completed.

The school has a strong emphasis on Vocational Education and Industry and training partnership programs such as VET, Agriculture, Performing Arts, and an Engineering Pathways programs.[2]
