At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 12,323 and had 2734 houses in it. +FAMOUS PLACES:

  1. monastery gumba at the top of hills

  3. mahalaxmi temple.....so on

Balambu is a richest in their religious culture activities in Western part of kathmandu.It is a largest city of the West parts of capital city(kathmandu)[1]

Language

The language of Balambu is Nepal Bhasa's Lalitpur dialect with a few informal changes.
