Baltic psaltery
The term Baltic psaltery refers to a family of related box-zither string instruments found generally in the vicinity of the Baltic Sea.
These instruments include:
- Kantele (Finland, Karelia and Northwest Russia)
- Harpu (Sápmi [formerly called Lapland])
- Kannel (Estonia)
- Kanklės (Lithuania)
- Kokle (Latvia)
- Kusle (Volga-Finnic Mari people of Russia)
- Gusli (Northwest Russia)
