Balu Kiriyath is a Malayalam lyricist, screenwriter and director.[1][2] He has written lyrics more than 50 Malayalam movies and directed 16 movies.[3]He was the general secretary of Malayalam Cine Technicians Association (Macta) during 2012. He is now Vyloppilli Samskriti Bhavan member secretary .[4][5]He is married to Lakshmi and has a daughter, Paarvati and a son, Bharath.
