Bar Paly (Hebrew: בר פאלי ; born April 29, 1985[3]) is a Russian-born Israeli model and actress.

Life and career

Paly was born in Nizhny Tagil, Russian SFSR, USSR. She moved to Israel when she was seven,[4] and was raised in Tel Aviv.[5] Paly began a career in modeling at the age of 17. In 2003, she began her career as an actress appearing in a variety of roles for television and appeared in the first Israeli mockumentary Big Tuna.[6] Paly has appeared in TV’s How I Met Your Mother, The Starter Wife, and the 2008 horror film The Ruins.[7]

In 2013, Paly held roles in both Roman Coppola’s A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III starring Charlie Sheen, Jason Schwartzman and Bill Murray, and Michael Bay’s Pain & Gain, alongside Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson.[8]

Paly is Jewish.[9] She is married to director Ian Kessner.[9][10]
