Barakah Yoqabil Barakah or Barakah Meets Barakah is a Saudi drama-comedy film directed and written by Mahmoud Sabbagh, a remarkably candid Saudi Arabian love story which uses stabs of acerbic humor as a counterweight to the difficulties the couple face.[1] Filming began on Sep 25, 2015 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The film premiered first at the Forum section of the 66th Berlin International Film Festival.[2] Making it the first Saudi feature film to premier at the festival. It won the Prize of the Ecumenical Jury at the Berlinale. [3]
