Barbara Joanne Losh (born July 22, 1963) is an American model, actress, cheerleader, and dancer best known for winning Miss Florida USA in 1985.[1][2][3]
Losh was born in eastern Cincinnati, Ohio, later moving to Hollywood, Florida at the age of nine. As an adult Losh went into modeling and also performed as a Miami Dolphins cheerleader between 1982 and 1984 and was a member of the famous June Taylor Dancers. Losh had initially competed for the 1984 Miss Florida competition, but was forced to withdraw from the competition due to a scheduling conflict with her cheerleading duties.[4] She later won the 1984 pageant, progressing to the Miss USA pageant, which she did not win.[5]
She currently resides in West Palm Beach with her children Joey and Nicole. Her husband John Rizzo died of a heart attack at the age of 46 in 2008.
Many of her photographs still appear on products from socks to picture frames, from catalogues to beer posters.
