The Barcelona International Motor Show (Saló Internacional de l'Automòbil or Salón Internacional del Automóvil) is held every second year at Fira de Barcelona's Montjuïc Exhibition Centre in the city of Barcelona, Catalonia (Spain). Established in 1919, the Barcelona International Motor Show is one of the biggest trade fairs held at Barcelona’s Fira exhibition site, with more than a million visitors.[1] The International Motor Show of Barcelona is one of the five major shows in the world[2] and the most important one in Spain for both the number of visitors and participating brand names.

The 2013 show opened on 11 May. The show had two international debuts and four European launches.[3]
