Bariwala is a town and a nagar panchayat in Muktsar district in the state of Punjab, India.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[1] Bariwala had a population of 7545. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Bariwala has an average literacy rate of 41%, lower than the national average of 59.5%; with 45% of the males and 55% of females literate. 13% of the population is under 6 years of age.
