Baroon
Baroon is a village in Lower Dir district of Pakistan, situated at a distance of about 11 km from Timergara, on the way from Timergara to Upper Dir, opposite to the main road, separated from the main road by Panjkora river. The village contains many beautiful fields in which different crops are sown like rice, wheat, maize, different vegetables and also there are gardens of orange and other fruits.

Baroon is situated on left side of Panjkora river in front of Rani village, about 16 km from district headquarterS, Timergara.
History

Population
Baroon has more than 600 houses. It has one middle school for boys and one for girls.

Summer season is hot and winter season is extremely cold.

One middle school for boys and one for girl.For higher education people usually goes to Peshawar and other cities. There is also a private school.
