Basail Govinda Government High School is a secondary school in Basail Upazila,[1] and one of five government high schools in Tangail District in the Division of Dhaka, Bangladesh.[2]

Zamindar Charu Roy has established his school at 1945 with name of his Father Govinda Roy. 1987 , government declared his school as government high school. It is situated at Basail town. From establishment, this school served as one of key educational institute of Basail and surrounding areas.

As of 2011, the school employed 13 teachers and had an enrollment of 433.[2] The headmaster is Wazed Ali Khanshor.
