"Batman!" is a song recorded by Jan and Dean.[1] The song, heavily inspired by Neal Hefti's 1966 "Batman Theme" was from a Batman tribute album called Jan and Dean meet Batman. Released in January 1966, this was the last Jan & Dean single (as well as the accompanying album) released before Jan's car accident three months later.
Both songs of the single were later covered by The Who.[2]
