Batn-El-Hajar
Batn-El-Hajar is a stony area south of the Second Cataract of the Nile River and Wadi Halfa - in present day Sudan.
Geography
Batn-El-Hajar was the traditional border between Upper Nubia and Lower Nubia.
The area contrasts with the surrounding sandy Sahara Desert. A number of important archeological sites and digs are in the area.
