The Santa Lucia Mountains slender salamander (Batrachoseps luciae) is a species of salamander in the Plethodontidae family.
Distribution
It is endemic to California, in Monterey County in the western United States.[1]
This salamander is endemic to the Santa Lucia Range from the Monterey Peninsula south to near the Monterey-San Luis Obispo county line. Its natural habitats are riparian areas, montane chaparral and woodlands, and temperate coniferous forests.[1]
