BattleSport is a futuristic sports video game developed by Cyclone Studios and published by Acclaim Entertainment. It was released for the 3DO Interactive Multiplayer in North America on January 1, 1996[1] and later ported to Windows and PlayStation in North America on June 30, 1997, and in Europe on August 1, 1997.[2] It also saw a US only release on the Saturn.[3]

Reception

The game received mediocre review from critics. GameSpot noted, ".... the fact is that there's just no need for a game like this on the PlayStation in 1997.[4]
