Bay High School is a public secondary school in the heart of downtown Panama City, Florida, U.S.. Located on Harrison Avenue, the school serves around 1,500 students in grades 9 to 12 in the Bay District Schools.

Bay High School, located at 1200 Harrison Avenue in downtown Panama City, was established in 1924, and is among the oldest continuously accredited public high schools in Florida. Bay High School has a faculty of 80. 55% of the faculty has earned advanced degrees and many are currently or have previously taught at the community college, college, and/or university level. Bay High School graduates have distinguished themselves in science, medicine, law, business, politics, education, religion, athletics, and many other endeavors.

School uniforms

Students at the school are required to wear school uniforms. They must wear red, white, or black polos or a school approved spirit T-shirt. They may wear jeans, khaki pants or skirts (without holes), pants or skirts. They must wear closed-toe shoes and a belt. Exceptions are made on fundraiser days, where students may buy a ticket from an organization or club to have a free dress-code day.[3]

Million Dollar Band

Bay High's "Million Dollar Band" consists of around 200 students. The origin of the name Million Dollar Band came from the 1960s when band involvement soared and the band's production costs were over a million dollars.
