Be My Cat: A Film for Anne is a 2015 English-language Romanian found footage horror movie directed, produced and written by Adrian Țofei, about a young man going to shocking extremes to convince Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway to play in his film.

It's Romania's first found found footage horror movie,[3] Best Film Winner at 2015 A Night of Horror International Film Festival in Sydney, Australia.[4]

Plot

Obsessed with making a movie with Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway, a young man in Romania goes to shocking extremes using three local actresses to shoot scenes from the movie to send to Anne as proof of his filmmaking and acting skills.

Critical response

Be My Cat: A Film for Anne has been widely acclaimed by critics. Dread Central gave the movie 4 stars out of 5, calling it "potentially revolutionary".[13] Audiences Everywhere gave the movie an A-, named it "dangerous and progressive"[14] and listed it #44 in The 100 Best Horror Movies of the 2000s[15] and #6 in Top 10 Best Horror Films of 2015.[16] Found Footage Critic rated the movie 9.7 out of 10[17] and 28 Days Later Analysis called it a "disturbing found footage masterpiece".[18]
