"Be the One" is a song by English singer Dua Lipa, released as a single on 30 October 2015. It was written by Lucy Taylor, Jack Tarrant and Digital Farm Animals, while Digital Farm Animals handled production with help from Jack Tarrant.^[1][2] It has achieved chart success throughout Europe and later on in Australia in April 2016.

Composition

The song is written in the key of F Mixolydian, and follows a looping chord progression of F and Eb (to note, Gm features at times as a passing chord).

Music video

A music video to accompany the release of the song was released on 29 October 2015 to Lipa's YouTube channel. It was directed and produced by Nicole Nodland.^[3]
