Beam Fiber

FiberNet, earlier known as Beam Fiber now ACT of Beam Telecom Pvt Ltd(now ACT Group) and formerly Beam Cable Systems Pvt Ltd) is an Indian Internet Service Provider with its major operations based in Hyderabad and Bangalore.[1] The company has been operating since 2006 and is now a part of ACT Group.[2]

Infrastructure and services

FiberNet(Beam Fiber) introduced fiber to the home for the first time in Hyderabad providing high speed internet connectivity at economy packages by implementing copper wire technologies. With the use of intelligent routing (BGP), dual path redundancy (N+1 Redundancy) and 1:1 Symmetric Duplex communication system,[3] Beam Fiber introduced dedicated leased line to provide solutions for enterprises and large scale organizations.

ACT (Atria Convergence Technologies)

ACT (Atria Convergence Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) was established in 2000. Their service offer comprises fibernet, digital TV and HD TV.

ACT is headquartered in Bangalore and is spread across several towns & cities of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh & Tamil Nadu. Pioneers in Fiber-To-The-Home technology in India, ACT provides broadband on Optic Fiber, with speeds ranging from 1 Mbps to 1 Gbps. ACT is currently the 4th largest ISP In the wired broadband category and the largest non-telco ISP in India.

ACT is funded by IVFA (India Value Fund Advisor), a premier private equity investment fund which played a pivotal role in facilitating several companies to develop into world-renowned organizations. The founder of ACT, Mr. Sunder Raju is one of the prominent figures in the Indian telecommunications industry. The senior management team of ACT consists of experts with experience in varied industries like FMCG, Entertainment, Information & Technology, Telecom, Retail etc.
