Beate Schramm (born June 21, 1966) is a German rower and Olympic gold medalist.
Early life
Schramm was born in Leisnig, East Germany in 1966.
Swimming career
Schramm competed for the SC Dynamo Berlin/ Sportvereinigung (SV) Dynamo. She twice won the world championships, and won the Olympic gold with her team at the 1988 Summer Olympics.[1][2][3]
Post-swimming career
As of 2007, she works as a criminal officer.
