"La vita è bella" is a famous tune composed by Nicola Piovani and used as an original musical film score for the Italian film La vita è bella. The film, also known by its English title Life Is Beautiful, is an award-winning film directed by Roberto Benigni who also has the lead role.

The tune "La vita è bella" is also very famous through an English language vocal version sung by the Israeli singer Achinoam Nini who is also known as Noa. Titled as "Beautiful That Way", the English song lyrics were co-written by Noa and the Israeli lyricist Gil Dor. The recording was produced by Mike Hedges for Mercury Records.
The song "Beautiful That Way" was first included on Noa's album Blue Touches Blue released on Mercury Records and on Universal (International) in March 2000 becoming hugely popular internationally and particularly in Italy as a revival of the original tune.
The Noa track also appears on the Noa album First Collection released in March 2001 by NMC (Israel). Her greatest hits compilation album Noa Gold released in October 2003 by Universal. A live rendition by Noa of the song is included in her album Noa Live released as a double CD and as a DVD and recorded with the Solis Quartet. The live version was released in October 2005 by NMC (Israel) and by Universal.
In popular culture
- Cristina Scuccia, the winner of season 2 of the Italian competition The Voice of Italy sang "Beautiful That Way" during her finale performances on 5 June 2014. She eventually won the title for the season.
- Il Volo, Italian operatic pop trio, sang "Beautiful That Way" on their album "L'amore si muove".
