Bebearia abesa, the Black Forester, is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found in Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon, the Republic of Congo, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda.[2]
