Beijing South Railway Station is a subway station on Line 4 of the Beijing Subway in China.[1] It is located in Fengtai District in the municipality of Beijing under the building of Beijing South Railway Station, hence the name. The station opened on 28 September 2009, when the whole Line 4 was put in operation.[2] The station on average has 135,000 entrances and exits per day.[3]

Beijing South Railway Station is an underground station with one platform and two side tracks. It is planned that the station will be an interchange of Line 4 and Line 14, which is under construction since 2010 and is scheduled to open in 2013.[4] Line 4 runs at the station in the direction north-south, and Line 14 will be running west-east.

In the center of the station of Line 4, place is reserved for future transfer to Line 14. The photo was made in 2010.
