Bela Sulakhe is an Indian playback singer who has sung several hit songs in Bollywood... Her singing talent was discovered at the tender age of 9,when she gave her first solo performance! Bela was born and brought up in Barshi near Solapur. Her father Shrikant Sulakhe was a noted personality in Maharashtra. The Sulakhe's are well known family for their education, social work and philanthropy..

Encouraged by her mother Mrs Vaijayanti Sulakhe & trained by Mrs Archana Kanere & Sri Moloy Banergie.…. Bella started a lifelong love affair with music.

As a child artist this singing sensation has shared the stage with legends like Asha Bhosle & Kishore Kumar. In fact the late Kishore Kumar often referred to her as “Hamari Chhoti Lata” .

For decades this charming lady has mesmerised audiences world over. Bella has the stage presence of a star and many people worldwide have been haunted by her melodious voice days after attending her concert.

Bella has participated in big musical events with film stars and playback singers, like the 'Showman of the millennium' a tribute to Raj Kapoor with Shahrukh Khan, Juhi Chawla, Anupam Kher, Anuradha Paudwal, Nitin Mukesh held in the wembley arena, London.

Bela has also toured the world performing alongside Madhuri Dixit, Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Salman Khan ,Jitendra, Shridevi, Rishi Kapoor, Laxmikant Pyarelal , Bappi Lahiri, Ravi , Ravindra Jain, Asha Bhosle, Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu, Sonu Nigam, Manhar Udhas, Shailendra Singh,Kavita Krishnamurty, Alka Yagnik and many more....

Bella participated as a celebrity guest in four episodes on Sony TV show, “K for Kishore”.

Bella has had a long association with the T-Series. Singing cover versions, regional songs, bhajans, qawalis, gazals from films and more.

Bella has also sung for Shri. Khayyamsaab, Raviji and Bappi Lahiri for their private albums and TV serials. This lady has and can sing in many different languages like Marathi, Gujrati , Bengali, Punjabi, Assames, Orriya, Bhojpuri, Tamil, Telagu, Kannada and more. Bella's love for music has extended in to composing music,her latest is done for a marathi series Vega. Her many achievements include the prestigious award “MATA SANMAAN’’ from the Maharashtra times for best female singer in 2005, for a Marathi film 'Manini'.

RAJA HINDUSTANI = NADEEM SHRAVAN, SUHAAG, AAZMAISH, TEESRA KAUN, KHULLAM KHULLA PYAR KAREN, MUQADDAR = ANAND MILIND VEERGATI = AADESH SHRIVASTAVA, HUM TUMHARE HAI SANAM = BAPPI LAHIRI.

This lady has a creative sole and when she is not busy singing she indulges in one of her many hobbies like painting, traveling, photography or reading. But music has always been her first love.

Some Anecdotes - It was Music director C Ramchandra tribute program. A very young girl sang " Yeh Zindagi Usi Ki Hai " as the last song. After the fantastic rendition the crowd did not clap... there was just silence and tears !! What a applause that was !! This little girl was Bela Sulakhe !!
