Beledweyne Airport or Duqow Ahmed Fiidow[3] (ICAO: HCMN) is an airport serving Beledweyne (also spelled Belet Uen or Beletweyn, Somali: Beletweeyne), the capital city of the Hiran region in Somalia.[1][2]

Facilities

The airport resides at an elevation of 559 feet (170 m) above mean sea level.[1][2] It has one runway designated 04/22 with a crushed rock and packed sand surface measuring 2,000 by 20 metres (6,562 ft × 66 ft).[1]

As of February 2015, the Djibouti Defense Forces have refurbished the airstrip.[4] The Beledweyne municipality also launched a project to further develop the airport in May of the year.[5]
