Belinda J. Foster
Belinda J. Foster is a former District Attorney in North Carolina.[1]
Education and career
Foster is a graduate of Bennett College located in Greensboro, NC in 1979. In 1982, she graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Law Degree. In 1993, Foster became the first African American woman DA in the state of North Carolina and served as District Attorney until 2006. Currently, Foster serves as Assistant District Attorney in Forsyth County, North Carolina.[1]
